Brand photography has a different set of rules. Having worked inside some of the most demanding brand productions in the industry, we know them well. Shooting for a brand and retouching for a brand are two different educations. We've had both.
Years spent on set with producers, directors, digi-techs, and talent — on Adidas campaigns, Oakley shoots, Dr. Martens productions — built an understanding of what major brands expect from their photography. The pace, the standards, the precision required at every stage from capture to final delivery. That experience doesn't stay in one industry. It travels.
The retouching side runs even deeper. Retouching work delivered for Adidas, Nike, Yeti, Starbucks, Fender, Dr. Martens, Columbia Sportswear, Teva, Burgerville, Fellow, and Tillamook. Brands with exacting visual standards that notice when something is off and expect it not to be.
The industries are different. The standards aren't.
Architectural products like concrete sinks, sliding glass door systems, plaster finishes, fixtures, and hardware deserve the same level of care that a sneaker or a guitar gets at a major brand. The color has to be right. The material has to read accurately. Whatever makes the product worth specifying has to be visible and true in the photograph.
We shoot home and architectural products in context, within real interiors and livable spaces, bringing studio-quality lighting into those environments. Sometimes, however, a product is best understood on its own in a controlled studio setting, and we're comfortable in that context as well.
Where we work
We're based in Portland and available throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond for the right project. If your product belongs in beautifully designed spaces, we speak that language.
